LG G Pad 8.3 tablet announced before IFA unveiling

LG today finally announced its first tablet this year, the G Pad 8.3, which it will showcase for the first time later this week at IFA. The tablet features an 8.3-inch 1920 x 1200 pixels display, a 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and a 4,600mAh battery.
One of the interesting bits about the G Pad 8.3 is the QPair app, which would pair the tablet with any Android smartphone running Jelly Bean. With QPair, users will be able to access every call or text message that comes on their smartphone on the G Pad 8.3 and also respond to them directly from the tablet.
Other customizations include Slide Aside that would enable users to slide aside any open app with a three finger swipe and QSlide that lets users open multiple apps at the same time.
The G Pad 8.3 will be launched in the fourth quarter globally. LG has not announced the tablet’s price and will disclose it at the time of launch.
