The TV actor and his singer wife have backed out of the dance reality show. Read on to know why
Nakuul Mehta and his wife Jankee, who were rehearsing for the upcoming dance show Nach Baliye 6 since the last two months have backed out. Jankee has suffered a knee injury and the doctors have advised her complete rest. Nakuul says, “She was very excited about the show and we were practising everyday. But the injury which she had sustained during one of her concerts (Jankee is a singer) played up during the rehearsals. Initially, Jankee ignored it but the pain became unbearable.”
He adds, “When the doctors checked it they said it’s a knee cartilage issue and the only cure is rest. So, yesterday we had to take a call about NB6 and we decided not to go ahead with it.” The couple is disappointed as they were looking forward to participating in the show.
“Now instead of rehearsing every night, we will be watching it,” jests Nakuul, who was to start shooting for the show from next week. The channel is now looking out for a replacement.
