The Results are out and an Indian city has made it to the top ten of Asia. Jaipur has been awarded as the ninth destination on the rise according to traveller's awards on tripadviser.com. This is a proud moment for the country as many from around the world want to travel to this location.
Tripadvisor had this to say about the pink city of India. "If you take one look at the glorious stucco buildings that line Jaipur's wide streets, you'll understand why this is nicknamed "The Pink City." Spend your days exploring City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Amber and Jaigarh forts. And if you're looking for a unique souvenir, head to one of the bazaars, where you can pick up a pair of camel-leather slippers."
Kathmandu in Nepal came as a surprise to us and is at the numero uno spot on the Asian list. Sapporo, Japan came in as number 2 and Hanoi, Vietnam is at number 3. However, Jaipur did not feature on the top 10 list of world destinations. Here Havana in Cuba got the top honours, followed by La Fortuna de San Carlos, Costa Rica and Kathmandu, Nepal took the third spot.
