Sonic The Hedgehog available for Android and iOS

Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog is a gaming icon and now the game is available for iOS and Android. The game is considered to be a classic and was originally released in the mid 90′s. The game used to be staple for Sega’s consoles and the new iOS and Android versions of the app feature new playable characters and a new graphics engine.
The game has seven zones which will require players to race across to collect rings and defeat enemies. The most interesting part of the game is that you can play as the Hedgehog or can even chose to play as Tails and Knuckles,  both of whom  have been introduced as playable characters for the first time.
Also, the game has been optimized for widescreen displays that are prevalent in most smartphones to offer 60fps and features a re-mastered soundtrack. Sega claims graphics have been re-egineered to offer a better gaming experience even without losing the original charm to the game.
Sonic The Hedgehog on Android comes with support for the Power A Moga, Nyko, XBOX, and all HID controllers, and costs Rs 163.79 and can be downloaded from here.
