After recently launching the Andi 3.5r budget Android smartphone, iBall today has launched a new Android smartphone named the Andi 4Di. The phone comes with dual-SIM and 3G support and is priced at Rs 5,995.
In terms of features, the Andi 4Di has a 4-inch WVGA IPS display offering 480×800 pixels resolution, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor with 512MB of RAM. There also is a 512MB of internal storage out of which 150MB is user accessible and an external memory support for up to 32GB using a microSD. The rear of the phone has a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and the front has a VGA camera, which can also be used for video calls.
Other features in the phone include a 1,700mAh battery, connectivity support for 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth, and GPS/AGPS support for navigation.
The Andi 4Di is available for Rs 5,995, and competes with the likes of Spice Ivory Flo Mi 450 and Micromax Canvas Viva, both of which offer a relatively bigger screen, but are priced in the same bracket.
