Indian Army Successfully Test-Fires BrahMos Missile


Indian army has once again shown its strength when they test-fired an advanced version of the BrahMos missile at Chandan firing range in Pokhran, India yesterday. The missile has deep penetration capabilities and can carry a warhead up to 300 Kg in weight. The missile can be fired from Land, Sea or under-sea and also from the air.

The Indian army and navy have already inducted the missiles in their respective commands and air-force will soon get it for their planes. The launch of the missile successfully showcased the deep penetration and accuracy capabilities of the weapon. CEO and MD of BrahMos, officials from MoD and scientists from DRDO were present at the test drive of this missile.

This missile has a range of 290 Km and will be a prized possession in the Indian armed force.
