Even as we wait for Facebook to release the Home launcher on Google Play Store, an update to Facebook Messenger has brought the Chat Head feature. Users don’t have to install Facebook Home and just update the Facebook Messenger app from here. Chat Head is one of the biggest features of Facebook Home that lets users chat on Messenger from anywhere on their Android smartphones without having to leave any other task or app to enter the Messenger app.
Even if you are not a huge Facebook user and are not impressed by turning your phone into a Facebook Phone, we would recommend you install Messenger, just for the Chat Heads and the convenience they bring. You can even have your SMS inbox linked to Messenger from the settings, which gives it more utility, in case you don’t chat much on Messenger.
