We can now confirm that the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will indeed be available in India from April 27. We have received word that the flagship Samsung Android smartphone will be available to buy on the same day from a network of 139 Reliance Digital stores across the country on April 27. We are hearing that some Reliance Digital Stores are taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S 4. The retailer will also host a separate launch event on April 27 in Mumbai. Earlier today we had reported that Samsung India’s eStore will also have the Galaxy S 4 available from April 27.
This will be the first time Samsung is launching its flagship Android smartphone without having any pre-orders. Earlier, the world’s largest smartphone vendor used to have pre-orders and an exclusive window period for its exclusive Samsung stores. However, it seems Samsung is looking at a much wider and aggressive launch for the Galaxy S 4.
