Vertu launches TI smartphone in India for Rs 6,49,990


Luxury comes at a hefty price, and Vertu is perhaps the best exponent of it in the smartphone space. It’s latest smartphone called the TI has now been launched in India for Rs 6,49,990. For those who wonder the reason behind the sky high price, the phone is handmade with a Grade 5 titanium body and a sapphire crystal screen. Additionally, the phone houses a premium set of speakers by Bang & Olufsen.
In terms of specifications, the phone features a 3.7-inch sapphire crystal display which the company claims is scratch proof. Beneath the dazzling titanium chassis resides a device that runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Internally it has a powerful 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and inbuilt 64GB of storage space. It also features an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera, and even NFC.
The phone also features a dedicated key to customer care centre sort of platform to access services including Vertu Certainty for data and device protection, Vertu Life for other tailored information and Vertu Concierge Service. The device can be found at the Vertu boutique in luxurious DLF Emporio Mall in South Delhi or can be bought of the Vertu website.
