The Happy New Year director has come up with signature dance moves for the upcoming Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2013. We had a quick chat with Farah Khan and found out just how excited she is about her contribution to the glitziest cricketainment ever…
Farah Khan is ready to whip you! The choreographer-turned-filmmaker is not going to let you plop down on the couch and stay glued to the television set while your favourite team battles it out to win the coveted IPL trophy this year.
“Sirf dekhne ka nahi, dance-ne ka,” yells the taskmaster in recent IPL promos where she urges people (read cricket aficionados) to break into a jig every time they see their favourite player hitting a four or a six. You can also celebrate when a player from the opposing side gets out, with Farah’s uniquely crafted wicket-wala dance move which is absolutely crazy. “Show the first finger just the way umpires do it and move your booty. But be careful and make sure that you don’t flash your middle finger instead, otherwise the step can become controversial and it can land you into trouble,” she jokes.
