The first automaker to get aboard the price hike ship is Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) who have announced an increase in prices by up to 2 per cent across its entire model range. The revised prices will be effective from April 1, 2013.

"We we are increasing car prices from April 1, 2013 by an amount of up to 2 per cent. The details are still being worked out," a company official said.
