HTC, we reported last week, was working on two new mid-range smartphones called the Desire P and the Desire Q. Now a member on the Android4TW forum has posted promo pictures and confirmed specs of these devices, meaning that the Taiwanese company seems to be planning to launch these devices soon.
The HTC Desire P from the pictures looks quite similar to the Desire SV in terms of design. It sports a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display, is powered by a 1GHz Dual-core processor and includes features like an 8-megapixel rear camera, microSD card slot and with Beats Audio technology onboard. Though it isn’t confirmed, the Desire P is likely to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. According to the site, the Desire P will retail through China Mobile at $365 (Rs 19,700 approximately) and will be available in red and white color variants.
