One Laptop per Child Association launches XO tablet at CES

One Laptop per Child Association has launched the XO Learning tablet along with XO Learning System which is  an Android compatible software aimed at child-centric learning. They have teamed up with Yves Behar of Fuse Project to create the XO Learning user interface. The content has been selected by OLPCA and Common Sense Media.
The XO Learning system also has a range of parental controls and supports user IDs of up to three children per system. There is a dashboard where both the parent and child can view the usage, types of content and skills that a child will be developing. All sites viewed can be viewed from the journal that records history and language can be changed from English to Spanish at the touch of a button with more language options likely to be launched in the future.
