Samsung Galaxy S 4 v Apple iPhone 5

The Apple iPhone 5 has ruled the roost ever since its launch, but now its most staunch competitor has entered the ballpark, the Samsung Galaxy S 4. While it retains a lot of what made its predecessor such an ironclad rival, the S 4 brings a truckload of hardware and software enhancements that leave even the great iPhone behind in dust. We have compared both the device spec for spec, read on to find out more.
In every possible way the Galaxy S 4 trumps the iPhone 5. But that was to be expected as the iPhone 5 is a 2012 flagship and the Galaxy S 4 is Samsung’s lead bazooka for 2013.
While the Galaxy S 4 has a state of the art 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, the iPhone 5 is decisively smaller at 4-inches and its resolution pales at 1136×640 pixels. In terms of PPI we are talking about 441 for the Galaxy S 4 and 326 for the iPhone 5. But in real world usage there is not a massive difference once the 300 PPI barrier is crossed.
