Indian mobile vendor iBall has added two 5-inch phablets to its Andi series of Android devices— the Andi 5L and the Andi 5Li. The iBall Andi 5L has been listed on e-commerce websites for Rs 10,490 and will be available soon, while the slightly upgraded Andi 5Li is listed on the company’s website without a price.
In terms of specifications, the Dual-SIM iBall Andi 5L sports a 5-inch capacitive (480×800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor and 512MB of RAM. Other features included on the phone are an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA camera at the front, 4GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card and a 1,800mAH battery. On the connectivity front, the device supports 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The iBall Andi 5Li, which is the upgraded version of the Andi 5L, comes with the exact same specifications as the above except that the former runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 2,000mAH battery. Currently there is no word on when or at what price the Andi 5Li will be launched.
