Lava 3G 356 and 3G 402 affordable Android smartphones launched for Rs 4,499 and 5,499


Lava has launched two new entry-level smartphones named 3G 356 and 3G 402, which run on Android and also offer 3G connectivity at an affordable price point.
Specs-wise, the Lava 3G 356 comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen with 480X320 pixels resolution. Under the hood is a MediaTek dual-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1GHz. Other features in the phone include a 1.3-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, a 1,500mAh battery with up to 5 hours of talktime and 200 hours of stand-by time, and proximity sensor.
The Lava 3G 402 comes with a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen with 480X800 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek dual-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, sports a 3-megapixel primary camera and a 1.3-megapixel secondary camera, and houses a 1,500mAh battery.
Both the phones run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with OTA upgrade and come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G support. On the memory front, both offer 256MB of RAM, 512MB of internal memory, and external memory support for up to 32GB through a memory card.
The Lava 3G 356 is priced for Rs 4,499 and the 3G 402 for Rs 5,499 and are available in grey, white and black for the Lava 3G 356 and white, grey and red for the Lava 402.
