A new set of leaked photos of Sony’s much rumored Honami smartphone has been spotted on digi-wo, which is a Chinese microblogging website. Though this is not the first time that alleged photos of the phone have surfaced on web, but it surely is the first time that the phone is spotted donning white chassis. In one of these pictures, the Honami is kept alongside the iPhone 5 in order to compare it against the latter. The phone was earlier compared with Sony’s very own Xperia Z as well.
One can clearly see all sides of the handset shown in these photos, which also confirm the phone’s much talked about 20.7-megapixel primary camera along with other camera settings, and its possible screen size. As seen in the picture, users will be able to take images at 20-megapixel (5248X3936 pixels), 8-megapixel with either 4:3 ratio or 16:9 ratio, at 3-megapixel, and at 2-megapixel (1080p). There will also be an LED flash, 1/2.3-inch sensor, and a G-Lens which is usually seen on Sony’s point-and-shoot digital cameras.
Other rumored spec-details of the phone include a 5-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and quad-core Krait 400 CPU. It will most likely run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, might also house a 3,000mAh battery and come water resistant. The phone will launch on 4 September at the IFA event, Berlin.
