Nokia launches the Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503 in India priced between Rs 4,499 and Rs 6,799


Earlier this year in October, Nokia had unveiled three new Asha devices at Nokia World 2013— Asha 500, Asha 502 and the Asha 503. Today, the Finnish company has launched the Asha 502 in India for Rs 5,969 and also revealed that the Asha 500 will be launched sometime next week and the Asha 503 sometime next month. Though we are a few days away from the launch, Nokia has revealed the prices of both the devices with the former priced at Rs 4,499 and the latter at Rs 6,799, IndianExpress reports.
Talking of hardware, the Asha 502 features a 3-inch QVGA (320×240 pixels) display, 64MB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, expandable memory using a microSD card, FM Radio and a 1,010mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to last 13.7 hours of talktime and 24 days on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM, AV jack, Wi-Fi and micro-USB port. The device listed on Nokia’s India Store last week for Rs 5,969. Nokia has also announced that Idea Cellular users who buy the Asha 502, will get 500MB of free 2G data every month for a period of three months.

As far as the rest of the devices are concerned, the dual-SIM Asha 500 will be launched sometime next week. It features a 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) display, 64MB of RAM, 2-megapixel rear camera, expandable memory up to 32GB using a microSD card, FM Radio, connectivity options like Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and a 1,200mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 15 hours of talktime and up to 840 hours on standby mode.
