Paul Cornell shakes up hero's life in 'Wolverine' series

Wolverine is the best there is at what he does.
Paul Cornell isn't too bad either.
The British writer takes a stab at the ultra-popular clawed member of the X-Men and Avengers in Marvel Comics' Wolverine, a relaunched title with artist Alan Davis that's part of the "Marvel NOW!" initiative.
"He's such a strange being, and yet he's made great efforts to hold onto everyday life and still be a guy who likes bars and sports and good company. I'm going to shake that up a bit," says Cornell, a writer on Doctor Who and Saucer Country, among other comics.
