High-quality photos of iPhone 5S’s home button hints at rumored fingerprint scanner

We have seen front panels, gold-colored back panels of Apple’s iPhone 5S leaked numerous times in the past few weeks. What we have yet to see though is the phone’s rumored biometric sensor-enabled home button and that is exactly what the now popular Apple leakster Sonny Dickson has provided today.
The extensive gallery shows high-quality photos of the Home button’s hardware assembly. The sensors and flex cable are distinctly different from the iPhone 5, which is mostly because of the in-built fingerprint scanner.
From what we have seen so far, the iPhone 5S looks strikingly similar to the iPhone 5, with the only visible difference being an elongated flash unit at the rear, which could house the dual LED flash module that was leaked earlier. Additionally, the iPhone 5S is also expected to feature an upgraded camera and the aforementioned fingerprint scanner.
For those finding it difficult to wait, there’s only about 5 days to go till Apple unveils the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C at an event in the company’s Cupertino HQ on September 10.
